The book "Can I finish?", whose title is derived from the most frequent phrase exchanged between Mr Dobrovsky and Mr Sídlo before and during the recording of the popular podcast, offers an edited transcript of the thirteen episodes of the podcast's first season, in which the authors draw on their experience of modern political history to describe and assess current events, from "Operation Vrbetice", to the parliamentary elections in October 2021, to the Russian attack on Ukraine in February 2022. The texts are accompanied by contemporary photographs and at the end of each chapter the reader also learns "how it all turned out in the end". That is, to what extent the authors' predictions and assessments eventually clashed with later reality, and what was the further fate of the main and secondary characters in our conversations.
