The second volume of the edition includes articles based on the materials of the international seminar "Russian Far East and Russian -German Relations in the XIX - XXth Centuries" and the international scientific conference "West-East: Education and Science on the Threshold of the XXIth Century", held in Khabarovsk in September 1999 and September 2000 correspondingly.
