The book contains scientific articles, different materials and reminiscences about life and activity of one of the most famous Kalmyk Buddhist ministers of the XXth century O.M. Dordzhiyev (Tugmiud-gazdzhi). The edition highlights his manifold activities aimed at the preservation of Kalmyk Buddhist tradition. Special place in the book is given to the publication of the old written sources in Tibetan, Mongol and Oirat languages from the collection of Dordzhiyev.
