Teuchezh Madinovich Kat was born in 1945 in the village of Gabukay, Teuchezhsky region. Graduated from the graphic arts faculty of the Kuban State University, the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. He was the first artist of Adygea to be awarded the title of People's Artist of the Russian Federation. Member of the Union of Journalists of Russia and the Union of Russian Writers.
