The study deals with the interstate migration of the high skilled scientific personnel against the background of transformation processes in Russia, and its active entry into the international high skilled labor market. Peculiarities of this kind of migration, that is becoming a brain drain at the present stage of the country’s development, special features of this process, correlation of the international and internal high skilled scientific labor markets are analyzed.
