The album presents graphic works from the collection of the National Historical Museum of the Republic of Belarus, united by one theme - ethnography of Belarus: ethnic types of Belarusians, rural and urban landscapes, monuments of architecture, traditional folk arts and crafts. Created by artists in the 1920s and 1930s, they are of great value: they are both works of art and scientific materials, as most Belarusian artists at the time were members of the local history movement. They took an active part in many expeditions: ethnographic, folklore, archeological, during which they made sketches. The book is intended for a wide range of readers.
