The third volume contains 228 letters, eleven of which are missing from Sergei Alexandrovich Dianin's edition, and numerous draft fragments. In cases where the autographs of the letters have been preserved, the text has been verified according to the original sources. The scientific editor of the publication is Anna Valentinovna Bulycheva, musicologist, candidate of art criticism, associate professor of the Moscow State Conservatory. P. I. Tchaikovsky.
