The present album is dedicated to the creative work of Boris Grigoriyev (1886-1939), a bright and paradoxical artist of the XXth century. For the first time his creative work is represented in such a full and many-sided way: from early illustrations of the Russian folklore and formalized theater-decorative “grotesques” of the 1910s, famous cycles “Raseya” and “Intimite” to the little-known works of the 1930s created in emigration.
