Boris Cavazza, a theatre, film and television actor, theatre director and film screenwriter, was born in 1939 in Milan. After completing the Maritime High School in Piran, he spent almost four years at sea. In 1969, he completed his studies in drama at the AGRFT in Ljubljana. In his more than fifty-year theatre career, he was a member of the ensembles of the Slovenian Theatre in Trieste, the Ljubljana Drama, the Slovenian Youth Theatre and the Koper Theatre, and in between he performed on the stages of almost all professional theatres in Slovenia and also established himself in the wider area of ??the former Yugoslavia. In 1987 he became an assistant professor, and in 1995 a full professor of drama and acting at the AGRFT in Ljubljana. Since 1992, he has also worked as a theatre director.
