The Book of Nothingness is a new work by Gershon Trestman, which the author himself calls a story. However, the genre of the work is much more complicated: here are real events from the time of the establishment of the NEP in Belarus to the day of Stalin's death, and a nostalgic walk in Minsk, and fantastic dreams, and elements of Jewish mysticism, and tsimus of worldly wisdom, and piercing poems.
The book uses archival and amateur poorly preserved photos as illustrations. By publishing them, the authors tried to show the time, place and atmosphere in which the described events took place.
