A sharp critique of the myth-making that both Estonians and Estonia's Russian population indulge in about each other. Estonians fear that the social integration of Russians would threaten Estonian control of the country; Russians fear that social integration would lead to the loss of their Russian language and identity. Then, too, Russians accuse Estonians of memorializing the Estonian SS, while denigrating the memorial to Soviet soldiers who died in WWII.
