The biography is based on the master’s thesis by the professor of Moscow Ecclesiastical Academy, Father-Superior Mark (Lozinsky), dedicated to the topic “Spiritual Life of a Layman and a Monk by Works and Letters of Bishop Ignaty Bryanchaninov”.
