The monograph generalizes an extensive theoretic material on big tumuli in the South of Russia. A number of unique findings were made in the Big tumulus in Ipatovo. Original burials in the ditches of the Early Bronze Age, impressive burials in catacombs, including rich collections of metal goods, several hearses were discovered there as well.
