Anatoly Tikhanovich Sys was born on October 26, 1959 in the village of Goroshkov, Rechitsa district, Gomel region. In 1982 he graduated from the Faculty of History and Philology of Gomel State University named after F. Skaryna. He worked in the Vetka district newspaper "October Victory" and as a senior specialist on Belarusian television. The world saw his books: "Fire" (1988), "Pan Forest" (1989), "Sys" (2020), "Flax" (2006), "Shores of my youth" (2016). Died May 4, 2005.
