This catalog contains the most significant plastic art works created between the 12th - 18th centuries and discovered by the restorers of Belarus. The first part of the catalog is devoted to the cultural life of ancient Belarusian towns where we can see strong traditions of Byzantium, Ancient Russ, Western Europe. The second part of the catalog presents some unique works of the Gothic and Renaissance styles when the interior of the churches and temples was changed significantly. Unique works created during this long time show important evidence of Belarusian plastic art as an integral part of the development of Eastern European culture.
