The Belarusian People's Republic is a state declared on the territory of Belarus on March 25, 1918 by the 3rd Charter of the Rada of the Belarusian People's Republic, which declared the independence of this entity within the boundaries of the Belarusian ethnographic territory.

Place of government meetings: Minsk, Grodno (since December 1918). It is from March 25, 1918 to this day that Belarus exists on the political map of Europe as an independent unit. The Day of the Declaration of Independence of the Belarusian People's Republic (March 25) is celebrated as Freedom Day.
