As of December 31, 2019, leasing operations in the Republic of Belarus were carried out by 108 specialized leasing organizations and 14 banks. The Association of Lessors of the Republic of Belarus, with the support of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus, conducted a study of this market according to the results of activities in 2019, which formed the basis for a review of the country's leasing market and the rating of leasing organizations separately for investment leasing segments (leasing agreements concluded with business entities ) and consumer leasing (leasing agreements concluded with individuals). Additionally, within the framework of the project, ranking lists of leasing organizations were compiled for a number of indicators, divided into three groups: indicators of quantitative results of leasing activities, indicators of leasing activity efficiency and indicators of financial stability of leasing organizations.
