Erotic themes inhere in practically all genres of the traditional Belarusian folklore and are described in its works with various levels of "transparency". In the offered book, ritual folklore is classified according to calendar and family complexes, while non-ritual lyrics and couplets are represented in the form of collections gathered by the XIXth and the XXth-century ethnographers.
