Prince Kiril Preslavski is one of the most famous and at the same time unknown personalities from Bulgarian political history. Official heir to the throne until 1937 and awarded the highest officer rank, in his private life he was a hero of the Sofia bohemia, a worshiper of the female beauty of bars and cabarets, a lover of gambling and high speeds. Providence left him in the shadow of the Bulgarian throne, but after the mysterious death of his brother - Tsar Boris III, the prince, together with Prof. Bogdan Filov and Gen. Nikola Mihov, was elected to the Council of Regents.
