The book is composed of selected literary portraits of Kazimir Svayak, Uladzimir Zhilka, Mihas Vasilko, Maksim Tank, Valyantsin Taulay, Mykola Orochka, Nilo Gilevich and other Belarusian poets with complex and tortuous biographies. Their creativity is determined by the originality of the artistic worldview and thinking, the sacrifice of serving one's spiritual and moral ideal and civic and patriotic duty.
