In 1932 Ernst Rudin, a Swiss psychiatrist, geneticist, eugenicist, and one of the fathers of racial hygiene, was elected President of the International Federation of Eugenic Organizations. The eugenics movement called for removal of “inferior” individuals from society by segregation, sterilization, or death. It was the basis of the Great Patriotic War in 1941-1945.
