Book-album describing the life of people and the functioning of the Baranovichi region. Baranovichi district is one of the largest agricultural producers in the Brest region.
The total land area of the district is 216.8 thousand hectares, of which 95.3 thousand hectares are agricultural land, including 75.0 thousand hectares of arable land.
The organizational structure of the region's agro-industrial complex is represented by 1 limited liability company, 1 closed joint stock company and 11 open joint stock companies.
The largest of them are Druzhba Poultry Farm OJSC, which over the past years has been the leader of the entire meat poultry industry in the republic, Baranovichi Poultry Farm OJSC, which is the republic's leader in egg production, Agrokombinat Mir OJSC, which specializes in fattening cattle.
There are 212 historical and cultural monuments on the territory of the Baranovichi region. 110 monuments of the Great Patriotic War, of which 66 are military graves.
In the region there are: the state educational institution "Brest regional cadet school", the state educational institution "Molchad sanatorium boarding school", the educational institution "Novomysh state professional lyceum of agricultural production" (subordinate - the main education department of the Brest regional executive committee).
Today the Baranovichi region harmoniously combines tradition and modernity, makes a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the region and the republic, does everything to improve the working, living and recreation conditions of people, thanks to which our region becomes more beautiful and richer every year.
