The publication is dedicated to an exhibition of miniatures illustrating the manuscript of the memoirs of the Mongol padishah Zahir ad-din Muhammad Babur (1483 - 1530), the founder of the Mughal Empire from the collection of the State Museum of the East, Moscow. These unique works were made at the turn of the 16th - 17th centuries during the period of the highest flowering of Mongolian painting. The first edition was published in 2005.
