In 2024, we marked the 120th anniversary of the birth of Valery Pavlovich Chkalov, the legendary chief test pilot of the Gorky Aviation Plant (1934–1938), and the 110th anniversary of the death of aerobatics pioneer Pyotr Nikolayevich Nesterov.
