Although this edition includes two works: the story “A.V.E. Sumatra” by film screenwriter and director Mikhail Konovalchuk and a collection of poems by the cult poet of the 20th century Alexander Eremenko “Models and Situations”, this book represents an inextricable whole. Both authors are simultaneously the literary heroes of the first documentary work covering their youth and young years, and mature masters of prose (M. Konovalchuk) and poetry (A. Eremenko). The book is given a special atmosphere by photographs from personal archives and visual materials illustrating, like newsreels, the period of Soviet reality in the late sixties and early seventies and telling about the life of the authors in post-Soviet times.
