The monograph is devoted to a comprehensive study of theoretical, methodological, organizational and practical problems of source study and archival science of audiovisual documents. Particular attention is focused on the disclosure of the principles of classification of film and photo documents, source study methods of analysis of these types of sources. The work also pays significant attention to archival problems of audiovisual documents: acquisition and composition, content, which summarizes the experience of the national audiovisual repository.
