Boris Reizov (born in 1902) is a Russian specialist in literature, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (1970), Honorable Doctor of Clermon University (1973), laureate of the USSR State Prize (1974). He is the author of a number of works on West European and Russian Literature, theoretical and methodological problems of literary studies. Reizov explores the literary process in correlation with a social idea of the epoch and its historical development.
