The monograph elucidates the activities of the Dutch entrepreneurs in Russia from the mid-XVIth to the beginning of the mid-XVIIIth centuries - the period of dominance of the Netherlands on the European and the World markets. Dutch trade families and companies, their role in Russia’s trade abroad, and formation of the first enterprises, as well as in the establishing connections between Russia and the countries of the Western Europe are investigated.
