An industrial hub is a typological unit of architecture and urban planning, representing one of the forms of group placement of production facilities. Introduced into domestic practice in the 1960s, it became widespread, demonstrating both the positive and problematic aspects of this territorial entity. The socio-economic changes of the last 30 years in the republic have seriously transformed the conditions for the existence of industrial hubs, which has put forward an urgent need for the development of scientifically based directions for their reorganization and future development. The monograph reflects the results of a study of the history of the creation of domestic industrial hubs - the features of their design, construction and operation, spatial and structural-functional organization, participation in the urban development of settlements, as well as the place and role of these formations in global practice and architectural theory. The directions for promising transformations of all 52 industrial hubs of the Republic of Belarus at a new stage of development are scientifically substantiated. For architects, urban planners and industrial construction specialists.
