The book is dedicated to the most famous and partially preserved archaeological monument in the central part of the city of Irkutsk - the Locomotive burial ground. This is an ancient necropolis that arose 7,500 years ago on the left bank of the Angara River, on the eastern slope of Mount Kai. Currently, the necropolis is the largest Early Neolithic burial ground in North Asia with unique funeral rites.
