The brochure is based on the key results of a research project “Appraisal of the Shadow Turnover in Small-Scale Business and Suggestions for its Reduction in the Context of Fiscal Policy, Policy of Deregulation and Reduction of the Corruption Level in 2002-2006”. The empiric basis of the research includes questioning of the small-scale business subjects in 7 cities, administrative centers of the Russian Federation regions. Results of the research let us judge more seriously the processes, which have recently taken place in the national economy, the influence of the State Economic policy, including struggle against corruption, unnecessary administrative barriers, etc.
