This is the first book about anti-Semitism written in Latvian. It presents the history of anti-Semitism in brief, from its appearance to the present day. The book traces as the anti-Semitism trend increased in Bolshevik policies in the totalitarian state of the Soviet Union after the World War II, and reveals the harm that anti-Semitic ideas and behavior have done to Latvia from the XIVth century to the early XXIst century. The book in detail describes the part Jews took in the struggle for the restoration of the independence of Latvia in 1988-1991.
