The book is dedicated to a newly discovered type of prehistoric anthropomorphic ceramic vessels. They were found during the excavations of the large Late Neolithic ritual field (pit sanctuary) near Kapitan Andreevo village, Southeast Bulgaria, which functioned from the end of 6th - beginning of 5th millennium BC. (5300-4900 BC). According to their iconography, the anthropomorphic vessels are unique works of ancient art, without parallels in the Old World.
