The book about the movement artist Ansis Rutentals (1949–2000) reflects the life path of a creative person who has made a bright mark on the Latvian performing arts scene. The artist's active career spans the period from 1965, when he was accepted into the ensemble "Rīgas pantomime" led by Roberts Ligers, concluding his
work there with the role of Akstas in the play "Histrionu misterija" (1971), until 2000, when he, together with his Ansis Rutentals Movement Theatre, established in 1978, participated in the Latvian cultural program EXPO 2000 in Hannover.
