The book represents memoir and historical narration about a German school Annenshule in Petersburg situated in Kirochnaya Street under a Lutheran church of Saint Anna, and about a Soviet school no.203 named after A.Griboedov which later occupied the same building as Annenshule. In spite of different epochs, social and economic systems both Annenshule and school no.203 paved the way for many Russian world-famous personalities.
