The monograph contains the description of the professional and pedagogical activity, personal traits of the Sc. Doctor of Architecture, Professor, Honoured Professor of Lviv Polytechnic National University Andriy Markovych Rudnytskyi (1928–2009). Authors of the publication were personally well acquainted with Andriy Rudnytskyi, being his students and colleagues in the diffi cult historical conditions of the late 20th century – early 21st century. Therefore, some chapters contain personal recollections that refl ect the peculiarities of the period from the position of the architecture.
