Description of the life and work of Andrey Petrovich Pustov (1870-1942) who was a member of the Bolshevik Party since 1903, a revolutionary, one of the main organizers of the Council of Deputies in the Shchelkovo Territory. The book tells about his work in the Cheka, control bodies, the Commission for the Affairs of the Red Guards and Red Partisans, the children's village "Young republic". In addition, a brief chronicle of political events in Shchelkovo from 1917 to 1940 is presented.
