The State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan keeps in its storerooms unique complexes of Old Russian painting from the cathedrals of Sviyazhsk. Of particular interest are the iconostases of the 16th century from the Assumption and Trinity Cathedrals that have survived to this day. This publication aims to provide basic information on two iconostases, monuments of the 16th-first quarter of the 17th centuries. In the catalog, the icons of the two iconostases are presented in the main part and in the appendices.
