Edition is devoted to the art of the Samus archeological culture – one of the striking and mysterious phenomena of the Northern Asia art history. The book reviews the history of the Samus art, methods of their analysis and interpretation, their social function, and the semantics of fundamental images. An important part of the publication is a summary of the materials for the Samus culture, which includes 500 fragments of ceramic vessels, stone sculptures, casting moulds, and bronze plates.
