The textbook on the basis of the civilizational approach to history reveals the history of the genesis and flourishing of civilization in the great Steppe. The cultural achievements of the Prototurkic and Turkic tribes of antiquity and the Middle Ages mostly on the territory of Kazakhstan are analyzed in connection with global history, characteristics of nomadism, taking into account the intercultural relations of the Turks with neighboring countries and civilizations.
