In the 14th issue of “The Problems of Historical Poetics”, the problems of analysis, interpretations and understanding of the Russian literature of the new time are considered. The authors of the articles analyze key concepts, historical and modern genres, folklore and literary images, motives, plots, details, symbols, forms of artistic time; they offer a new interpretation and understanding of well-known and, apparently, well-studied works of Russian literature. A number of articles are devoted to the great Russian poet G. R. Derzhavin, because this year we are marking the 200th anniversary of his death. Traditionally, the authors of the publication pay a considerable attention to studying the Christian tradition in Russian literature.
