The miscellany introduces a variety of translations into Russian of a number of the anacreontical songs (short lyrical pieces by Greek poet Anacreont) created by a pleiad of both great and little-known Russian poets of the XVIIIth and the XIXth centuries. The texts are accompanied with comments by the very poets as well as bibliographical and reference data.
