For Mustafa Kruja the object and method of work was dictated directly by the concrete situation of the Albanian language and its writing culture. For Albanian, it was vital to rebuild its evolutionary chain in such a way as to guarantee the historical depth of the language. In this light, Kruja's analytical study is a great and difficult attempt to undermine the primitivism of Albanian and, on the other hand, to avoid its alienation at the time it was becoming a state language and was thus being regulated.
