Urusova Aminat Mudalifovna (1911-1995) - public figure, writer and educator. The monograph examines the life and work of the Karachay writer Aminat Urusova, the specifics of her artistic thinking and aesthetic ideas. It notes the significance and role of the novel-dilogy "Aisanat" in the formation of national prose and the activities of A. Urusova as a publicist and literary critic. Of particular interest are the memoirs of A. Urusova, in particular her book "Emyur tanyshlany sagynyu" ("Memories of Contemporaries", 1975) - about outstanding personalities who made a significant contribution to the formation and development of the spiritual culture of the Karachay people.
