Israel and the U.S. relations are considered the closest and have one of the most significant roles in U.S. foreign policy. In the U.S. and across the globe, many ask questions, why is the U.S. supporting Israel in terms of large-scale military, diplomatic, and financial support? In contrast, it is rarely questioned in Congress for this large extent of support to Israel. Historically, on 14th May 1948, the head of the Jewish Agency, Ben-Gurion announced Israel’s establishment. Only eleven minutes after Israel declared its independence, President of the U.S. Truman recognized Israel as a new state. However, the state’s foreign policy, is the strategy chosen to protect the national interests and to achieve goals towards international relations, several internal and external factors contribute to shaping the foreign policy to achieve the required outcomes. U.S. foreign policy is not an exception and is discussed in the Middle East with the most prominent subject of Israel-lobby. In this context, most observers attribute Israel's pride of place in the U.S. to the impact of Jewish political activism and campaign contributions.
