The Alphabet of Slovak Cinema 1921–2021 is a collection of 25 short essays that deal with alphabetically named phenomena of Slovak film culture. It attempts to capture the most salient themes when thinking about Slovak cinema, phenomena and features of working with film, narrative and visual motifs. The Alphabet is an attempt at a more playful exploration and a less binding insight into the more or less known history of Slovak cinema.
