As a poet, Serhiy Zhadan is more or less the same age as Ukrainian Independence. Since the existence of the newest Ukraine, he has been writing poems since then, without long vacations and distinct crises, on average two a month. Therefore, "All Poems" is one of the most thorough stories of Ukraine in the last thirty years: with all our unexpected ups and downs, swings between the left and right extremes, the killing of the silabo-tonic and its resurrection, the repetition of the past and the search for new paths. As it should be, there was a youth riot at the beginning.
