Ivica Mladenovic is a political sociologist. He works as a research associate at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory (IFDT) of the University of Belgrade and as a lecturer at the Universite Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne. Thanks to a scholarship from the French Government, he received a doctorate in sociology from the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade and in political science from the Universite de Paris 8. Since 2015, he has been the editor-in-chief of the Serbian edition of the intellectual monthly Le Monde diplomatique.
