The publication is dedicated to the phenomenon of B.U. Kashkin, a symbolic hero for the Ural unofficial culture - Evgeny Mikhailovich Malakhin. Experimental photographer, poet, “punk-rock buffoon”, “people's janitor of Russia”, he was known in different years as K.A. Kashkin, B.U. Kashkin and just like Old Man Bukashkin. The main spheres of creativity of an unusual art character and his followers, members of the "Kartinik" society are represented. The book reflects one of the important areas of scientific research of university art critics - the study of the unofficial art of the Ural region and contemporary folk art.
