Kishchenko Alexander Mikhailovich (1933 - 1997) - the artist. Album. A unique book-album is devoted to the work of a brilliant artist. The works of the People’s Artist of Belarus, laureate of the State Prizes of the BSSR, winner of the Francisk Skaryna Medal A. M. Kischenko occupy a special place in the extensive list of cultural treasures of our country. His acclaimed "Tapestry of the Century" - one of the most unusual phenomena in contemporary monumental art - is listed in the Guinness Book of Records. The colorful album with the original design contains about 300 color reproductions, many of which are published for the first time. With this publication in Russian, Belarusian and English, together with the Development Bank, we are opening a new project - “Cultural Heritage of Belarus”. The main goal of the project is the preparation and release of a series of fundamental books-albums about prominent personalities, historical events, shrines of Belarus. No doubt the release of the album “Alexander Kishchenko. The chronicler of the twentieth century "- a bright milestone in the history of the culture of Belarus.
